It's currently 57 degrees. The sun is bright, the wind is blowing. So why am I inside? Yeah, I don't know either. Went to Beans and Barley earlier. Got a tofu burger and some groceries.
I know, I know. My life is too exciting.
W. Wisconsin Ave was backed up, near the Lake. A protest against the war. I came home and turned on CNN and they said that there are protests going on nationwide. It's the "anniversary" of the start of the war. I can't believe it's been one year. My stance from a year ago still stands... the US had no real business starting this war. I mean, sure, Saddam Hussein was captured, but all we're going to do is keep him from doing more trouble. I'm guessing he's going to be sentenced to death. Eventually. But notice how even though he's in captivity, there are still terrorist acts going on. Look what happened to those poor people in Madrid. This war was originally suposed to be to stop terrorism. Has it been successful?
I don't know, ask the victims of the Madrid bombing.. and all the other terrorist acts that have happened in the past year.
Whoa. I didn't think this would become such a long and ranting entry.
